CURTIN ACADEMY
ADVISORY BOARD
The Curtin Academy Advisory Board (CAAB) was established in 2020 as part of the project to relaunch and re-energise the Curtin Academy. The CAAB allows the Academy to expand its networks and leverage the networks of others towards a common goal.
Functions and responsibilities
To provide strategic advice to Curtin Academy on emerging industry trends and workforce development needs, facilitate linkage between the Curtin Academy and industry, government, professions and the community, provide critical reflection on the work of the Curtin Academy and promote the Curtin Academy, its mission and its contributions.
WELCOME FROM
THE CAAB CHAIR
It was my great honour and privilege as Chair of the Curtin Academy Advisory Board (CAAB) to introduce the members of the Board at the Curtin Academy Celebration function on Thursday 26 November.
I am very humbled to Chair this Board and thank each Board member for agreeing to give up their valuable time and join this Board. We greatly value the insights and expertise that they will bring to the Academy.
I would also like to thank the Chair of the Curtin Academy, Associate Professor Rachel Sheffield and its Executive for establishing this Board and to recognise the work of Curtin Academy Associate Professor Georgina Fyfe in translating the idea to make it a reality by co-ordinating the development of its Constitution.
I look forward to working with the Board to help the Academy achieve its strategic goals.
