This special event is a partnership between the Office of the DVCA and Curtin Academy, designed to recognise the dedication, creativity and outstanding contributions of our teaching community.

Staff are encouraged to submit abstracts on the themes to be considered for inclusion in the event program. Abstract presentations will run for 20 minutes, including question time and may be delivered as an individual or a group in two categories:

Research in Higher Education

Practice or Scholarship in Learning and Teaching

The best presentation for each theme in both the Research and Learning and Teaching categories will win $500. The best poster for each theme will receive $250. Please see below for more information on how to prepare your abstract and presentation.
Summary of CoILT
The Celebration will showcase ongoing excellence in teaching practices that are driving student success at Curtin across four themes:

Enhancement of Graduate Capabilities: Showcasing authentic and industry-focused approaches to enhancing graduate capabilities

Learning and Teaching Practices: Showcasing innovative approaches that enhance student learning

Digital Enablement and Engagement: Exploring how technology transforms the learning experience

Adaptive and Inclusive Learning: Recognising efforts to create accessible, flexible and inclusive education
